Last Day of School

Last week was the boys' last week of school...Thursday for Parker and Friday for Hayden.  For Parker it was just another day, although he had his end of year party the day before!

Snacking at his ocean themed party!
Official Last Day Picture!

Hayden had his end of the year party the day before the actual last day.  They had a cookout in the classroom and then had a blast have a water day outside!  We are so thankful for the school that he has been at for the last four years.  We planned on keeping him there for kindergarten but he is going to our local elementary school and enrolling in their Spanish Immersion program, so he will be fluent by 5th grade, supposedly.  It's been a struggle to decide, and I am still not 100% on our choice!

Slip and slide time!!

Water balloon baseball!!  He impressed all the parents with his batting skills :-)

His wonderful teacher opening a class gift.
Again, got to join in on Hayden's fun!

5U Baseball: Gators

Well, we had our the season of baseball and our 4th team.  We really liked how the coaches were this year, and the progress that the team made as a whole.  Hayden just intensified his love of baseball and pretty much everyone knows about it!!  He would practice everyday if he could, even now that the season is over.  He really improved on his catching skills and had several outs during the season, as well many great hits when up at bat.  He truly has found something he is passionate about :-)

Field Day Fun

I love that our pre-school does Field Day.  The kids have so much fun and their P.E. teacher is just fabulous with all of them.  Parker's was of course more subdued, more like a regular class, and Hayden's was a full 2 hours!

Waiting for the fun to begin!

Hula hooping!!

Easter Weekend

We had a great and busy Easter weekend a while back!  With Easter being so early this year, the weather was alright...i warmed up by Sunday at least.  We went to a couple egg hunts over the weekend and then celebrated with family on Sunday afternoon!

St. Patty's Day

Well, since the 17th was the day after we got back from San Antonio, we had to just reuse the leprechaun trap from last year.   Everyone seemed okay with that so I went with it!  Hayden failed to catch him again...he says he is going to make things better next year :-)  The leprechaun did leave a bag of chocolate coins and a new bubble gun!

Set and ready!
The clues have been found.

A festive treat :-)

Have a lucky year!!  I don't know why there is a big space above this picture...
