Family Time in Houston!

We went down to Houston the first weekend in June to visit with family for cousin Emilia's graduation from high school.  My aunt came down from Chicago, and my aunt and uncle in Houston are moving to Egypt, so it was great to see everyone all together.  We visited the downtown park pictured in the previous post and the kids did a lot of swimming and spending time with their great aunts and uncles!!

We went to dinner on Friday for Emilia and she made Parker origami animals, which were very exciting for him!

Early School's Out fun

Parker LOVES water...our new playset is there in the back, too!
A little backyard pool time.

Legoland...Parker's first time since walking.

Houston has put a great park right in the middle of downtown called Disocvery Green.  There was a fun playground and perfoct for Prker water structure amongst all the buildings and convention center.  There was also lots of pathways and ponds!

More water love!

Last Day of School!!

Another year of preschool is behind us, with next year being the last one for Hayden but the first for Parker, and who knows how many more years to come!  Good thing we love, love, love their school!!

Hayden's End of the Year Party was at a park they can walk to on the day before school was out.  The kids played games, ran around and ate ice cream sandwiches and fruit!!

Spring Ball

We had our second, and final, season of T-Ball.  Next season Hayden will start coach pitch!  He was a pirate pagan with a few of his little friends.  Apparently we may be a pirate for a while I am told!  He had a blast, and is REALLY getting into sports.  He practiced everyday until it has gotten too hot....already yes.  He practices some sort of sport every day all on his own.  With baseball, he wants to perfect his batting for as long as we let him!

Concentrating and ready for the ball.
Best Friends!
Our last game was rained out so the trophy presentation happened at the McDonald's playland!
His coach did a great job and really took time to get to know each of the boys :-)
We love trophy's!!
