Brothers :-)

Hayden enjoys checking on his new baby! We have found him looking in at him when he is sleeping in his crib. He likes to 'pet' his head and make sure that he has his baby milk when he cries!

Parker Ethan joined our family on January 20, 2011 at 5:56 pm. He weighed 8 pounds and 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has been a wonderful addition to our family! He is a clone of his big brother Hayden when he born :-) A few things we have discovered about Parker..

- he LOVES to sleep...day and night

- he LOVES to eat

- he has super sweet blond hair, with slight curls in the back

- he has blue eyes and chubby cheeks

- he he does not like to have his clothes off and isn't a big fan of diaper changes

- he loves to snuggle and be swaddled up

- he is very calm and mellow

- he rarely cries...mostly just a whimper

Parker Ethan's Room is Ready!

The day came yesterday...we finally finished the new nursery for Parker! He is set to arrive no later than January 20th, so we were done in time! Here is the tour:

Here is what you see from the doorway...as much as you can through the camera.

These are on the wall to the left of the doorway, waiting for the real hand and foot print.

From there you get to the dresser/changing area.

We are looking forward to using the new chair. It is very comfy!!

This shelf is on the wall to the right of the crib. Hayden is getting a photo op for now, and my friend Daniela made the super cure card that I framed. This, in coordinating colors, will go in the blank space after Parker is born!

Rose Bowl Champions!!

A BIG congrats to our TCU Horned Frog Football Team on their win in their first ever Rose Bowl game over Wisconsin...21-19, making them 13-0 overall!! It was so exciting to have the opportunity to watch our school play for such a momentous feat. We couldn't make it this year but next time for sure!! We spend the afternoon cheering them on with my best friend Sabrina, all of her family, and most of mine, with some other friends mixed in!
