Hayden is 5!!

Hayden turned five years old this month...almost ready for big kid school, almost!  He has definitely changed over the past year.  He has become a great eater mostly for the first time in his life, and not too picky.  Sports, especially baseball and football, are his absolute passion!  He is still very meticulous and neat.  He has a new love of Lego's.  He is a wonderful big brother to Parker, and he absolutely adores his baby cousin Lorelei!  He is in school everyday, and is learning how to read, counts higher than I can keep track of, writes words everywhere, and can do addition and subtraction in his head.  His personality is continuing to develop, and he loves to play with his friends.

Hayden wanted to also have a TX Rangers theme for his real birthday party at home with the family.  Past birthdays have always had to be split between two different themes!

Party Time...TX Rangers Style!

Hayden turned 5 earlier this month (more on that next).  We combined his favorite things, TX Ranger's baseball, and having fun at gymnastics!  He takes classes at a fantastic gym in the area and a lot of his friends attend there as well, and the owners are TCU alumni!  We let him invite only who wanted this year, so it was a nice bunch of close friends and their little siblings.  Everyone had a blast and left tired!

The kids were busy with games, free play, rope swinging into the pit, and jumping on the trampolines!

The babies were just a busy!

First Day of School

This year was a big year for the first day, since both boys started school last month.  Hayden is going everyday in a junior kindergarten program, and Parker goes 2 days a week in the 18 month class.  Hayden was of course perfectly fine, although the long days took a few weeks for him to get used to.  Parker is still having a little trouble at drop off time, and he has to be the first one out at pick up or he melts down!  In between though he is having a great time being at school.
