Fish, Turtles, and Penguins...Oh My!

We ventured to the aquarium a few days ago with mom's group, and it was great. Hayden was really interested in all the animals. We had been a few times before but he wasn't really into it until now. He looked in every enclosure to see what was inside and what was going on.

There are crocodiles behind, but I know you can't see them.

No, your eyes aren't deceiving you...here in TX we had more snow (almost 3 inches) on March 20th. It had already started to melt a bit here but we had to get a picture!

The big 3-3 arrived yesterday. Hayden enjoyed getting to celebrate with cake and presents...all for him of course, in his head! Happy Birthday!!

A Day with Thomas

We indulged Hayden's love of Thomas the train and went to see the 'real one' this weekend! The look on his face when he first saw him was that of complete amazement, awe, and excitement. I don't think it could have been replicated! Thomas the choo choo is his dear friend when it is play time a home. It was great weather and a lot of fun to do something that involved just the three of us!

There was a tent set up that had train set, Lego sets, coloring, and stamping, all Thomas themed, of course. Hayden did such a good job waiting for a chance to play with some trains and then putting them back when it was time to go. The Thomas tattoo on his hand is still intact after a bath and many hand washing sessions!

Crib Graduation

We made the move this past weekend to the big boy bed...otherwise know as the toddler bed. It has been so far, so good. We had a big, firm talk the first day and haven't had any issues with getting out until someone comes to get you up, and staying in when it is bedtime!
