Fire Station!

Earlier this month we went to visit the local fire station with our playgroup. A group of two year olds isn't really into touring the station itself, but they were all very interested as soon as we went out into the garage with the trucks!

Everyone got the plastic hat and you'll notice that everyone else has black...somehow someone snagged the only red one.

Intently listening!

Checking out the inside of the truck.

Posing with a real fireman!

So much fun with all the friends!!

Easter Weekend

We took to quick trip down to Houston to celebrate this Easter weekend. Caitlin and Peter came down with us, so Hayden was always entertained in the car! Everyone had lots of fun and really enjoyed the nice spring time weather.

My mom got Hayden one of those whirly-gig toys that when you pull the string the circles fly up in the air. It turned out to be a big hit....

especially when you could make them go in the pool and Uncle Peter had to fetch them out with the net. Possibly more enjoyable than the actual game itself!

We of course dyed eggs!

Treats from the Easter Bunny.

Checking out the goods in the morning. He didn't realize right away they were for him but once he did it was game on with the new toys and treats.

This was such a cute picture. I need to work in the photo program to lighten it up more.

Everyone in their spring time best!

Last, but not least, hunting for eggs!!

Egg Hunting Time

Last weekend we hit up an area egg hunt for some early Easter fun with my friend Kellie, who is mom to Hayden's best pal Connor. It was at Nash Farm in Grapevine, so there were also cute animals to pet and feed, which was a big hit. Last but not least we sat "near" the Easter bunny!

Connor and Hayden waiting to go and find!

After the hunt...he really just wanted to bags of animal crackers strewn about, not the eggs!

The pig was the most willing recipient to the plethora of food that was being offered by the masses of little ones.
The goats were also very willing to eat anything.
This rabbit was awesome....check out that fur. He was huge!

So soft and cute.

The llama was not impressed by any of the activities.
Hayden did pet the bunnies ears while we were sitting with him but wouldn't sit next to him.

Happy Easter and Egg Hunting!!
