St. Patty's Day

Now that Hayden is getting older, we are trying to make each holiday fun with activities to build on some fun traditions.  He had a great time getting things ready for lucky leprechaun day :-)

In the morning Hayden woke to find the mess that the leprechaun had left behind because that is what they do when they get into your house!!

The leprechaun left a rainbow scavenger hunt for him to go onto find the treasure!

Spring Break!!

We stayed around home for the break in March, and played with Mimi, Aunt Caitlin, and Lorelei around town.  It went by fast as usual but we had a fun time!

We went to the Dallas Arboretum one day to enjoy the Dallas Blooms event.  Everything was fully out with the exceptionally warm and early spring that we have had.

In the kids pioneer village they have teepee replicas with various animal pelts to check out!

We went to check out the Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch on another day.  They have a lot of rescue animals but also animals they have purposely brought there.  It was a large variety from monkeys to goats to camels to warthogs!  It confirmed Parker's absolute love of animals of any kind!

We had a cute and oddly warm, for February, Valentine's day!  Hayden is starting to understand the concept of the holidays and wants to always know which one is next so he can keep track as the months change!

Party Time!

We celebrated Parker's birthday with friends and family two days after his actual birthday.  He LOVES balls of any kind, so that was naturally our theme.  The lady who designed the invites and accessories did everything up with polka dots, bubbles, and stripes.  It was super cute!!  The weather was super nice for January, so the bounce houses worked out great for all the older siblings and his little friends.  We are so happy to have had our closest friends and family celebrating his big day!

Happy First Birthday Parker!!!

Parker has turned one years old!!  He enjoyed his day as much as you would expect him to, so really just another day for him with a few extras like balloons!  We have discovered that he does not like cake but does love balloons.  He had oranges, chicken, and peas for his birthday meal...some of his favorites :-)
