Christmas: Part One

We headed to Tulsa the weekend before Christmas for gifts and family part one.  The kids had a great time playing with daddy's old toys and, of course, many new ones too!  Hayden had a list of activities ready to go when Aunt Jill, Uncle Dean, and cousin Caitlin came over :-)

One of the many rounds of the fishing game...got pretty competitive for the big ones!
Dean, Jill, and Caitlin seeing what Santa left in their stockings!

PW's newest cookbook...figured I should include a picture of me now and then, even if I am reading!

ICE!

We always go the The Gaylord at Christmas, sometimes we go to the ICE and sometimes not.  This year the theme was Madagascar, and Hayden loves the movies and Parker wasn't a baby this year!  They both really liked it and there were no complaints about the cold, especially from Greg who usually does.  He had just been where it was -20 for a week, so a measly 15 degrees was practically balmy!

Always loves watching the trains go by!

Posing with penguins for Bean.

Seriously checking the ice quality!
Just finished the ICE slide!

The holiday season has been busier than ever with two now that are participating in everything!

The C-K crew at the HV tree lighting!
We went to the Christmas Festival at church this year since P was older this year. I discovered that he LOVES petting areas and of course pony rides!

The Trains at Northpark!!
One of Hayden's songs from us to you!

Brodie...Our Shelf Elf

Well, luckily Brodie decided to return this year on the 1st.  He gets tired of being sneaking after a while, so he didn't want to come right after Thanksgiving!  Brodie visits us really just for fun, not so much the focus on good or bad behavior.  He definitely wanted to top his show last year, especially since the large one really understands what happens everyday, although the mini has gotten into finding him every morning!

He's arrived and ready!
Brodie set the table for a North Pole breakfast!

Hangin' on the light fixture.
A little balancing act!
Coloring time!

Turkey Time

We headed down to Houston for the Thanksgiving week...for the last time actually.  The family will all be near us starting next year.  Everyone had a great time hanging outing, playing with different toys, and of course shopping!

The turkey left Hayden the Lego advent calendar this year!
Someone else got a barking puppy and books!

Fall Football Fun

Another college football season has pretty much come to an end.  The start of the entry into the Big 12 meant that both teams played each other for the first time in a long time, with many more purple vs. orange to come!  It turned out to be a very warm, and sometimes hot season, with only one cold game midway through.  We made it to all the games, while we were not big fans of our seats in the new stadium, we love our new parking spot right by the stadium!  We had so much fun spending time with lots of friends throughout the season.

Fun with our best friends at the Tech game!!!

Always concentrating!
And for daddy...supporting his #1 and #2 team for him while he was in Canada!

Halloween!

Yes, I know, I had gotten really caught up and now I am very obviously behind, but I have to catch up to get moving on the already delays holiday posts that need to be started!  Greg was part way through his month long trip out of the country, so no family pumpkin photo!  The children also thought it would be great to bring the stomach bug home but thankfully everyone was more or less well in time to trick or treat!  We had a Mario and a giraffe this year, as well as Lorelei the Zebra :-)

Pumpkin carving time!

Must make holiday themed cookies!

The Great Pumpkin left treats in the cat chair backers :-)
Happy Candy Day!
